Job Title: Supervisor, Legal

Location: Nigeria

Cadre: Senior Officer / Supervisory 

Objective
To provide effective legal services to the Company and mitigate exposure to litigations.

Key Job Responsibilities
Participate in providing in-house legal support for the negotiation and implementation of Gas Sales Agreement (GSA), Gas Transportation Agreements (GTA), EPC contracts, Consultancy Contracts, O&M Agreements, Tie-In Agreements etc.

Participate in providing legal support for Finance-related issues including the documentation of financing arrangements and provide necessary support towards debt recovery initiatives especially as regards to breach of contracts and defaults in legal agreements

Provide legal advice on contractual disputes and collaborate with external counsels to develop strategies for protecting against litigation

Requirements
First Class or Second Class Upper (First Degree) in relevant Law disciplines

Second Class Lower or HND Upper Credit (minimum) in relevant Law disciplines, plus Master’s degree

Certification/Membership of relevant professional body e.g. NBA, CIARB etc.

NYSC Completion/Exemption Certificate

Applicants must not be more than 37 years of age as at 31st December, 2018.

Applicants must have Minimum of 9 years relevant post qualification experience .

Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.
