The Junior Chamber International Nigeria, an international non-profit organisation, has called for nominations for its Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award. This was made public by the 2019 JCIN TOYP committee Chairman, Oluwatosin Ligali, who said nominations were welcomed from members and non members of JCI.

Ligali said, “The JCI TOYP serves to formally recognise young people who excel in their chosen fields and create positive change. By recognising these persons, JCI raises the status of socially responsible leaders in the world.”

Ligali added that the nomination process would end on February 8 and nominees should be between ages 18 and 40.

He also said the nominations could be in the business, economic or entrepreneurial accomplishments; political, legal or government affairs; academic leadership or cultural achievements; and moral or environmental leadership, among others.

The 2019 National President of JCIN, Adetola Ademiniyi-Juyitan, encouraged Nigerians to get involved in the voting process.
