2017/2018 ADMISSIONS COLLEGE OF LAW AND SCHOOL OF POSTGRADUATE STUDIES 

Sequel to the approval given by the National Universities Commission (NUC) to the University to run Law and Postgraduate programmes, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for immediate admission to: 

COLLEGE OF LAW 

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Entry Requirements (L) Candidates are required to have sat for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score as approved by NUC and JAMB. 

(ii)They must also have obtained a minimum of five (5) credit passes at not more than two sittings in WAEC (SSCE)/ NECO (SSCE) or NABTEB. These should include English Language, Literature in English and three other subjects. 

POSTGRADUATEADMISSION REQUIREMENTS PGD 

Candidate must have a minimum of 3rd Class Division degree from Achievers University, Owo or any other recognized university in the proposed programme of study. Holders of professional diploma such as HND or equivalent are eligible to apply. 

ii MSc. Candidates must have a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division degree of Achievers University. Otto or any other recognized university in proposed programme of study. 

in addition, a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 to qualify for admission. 

SCREENING DATES:
Screening of applicants for admission holds daily (Monday to Friday) between 9.00am and 4.00pm at the University Campus, Km I, Idasen-Ute Road, Owo, Ondo State. 

HOW TO APPLY 
1. Candidates can process admissions by downloading admission forms from the University website, or by obtaining admission forms at the Registry of Achievers University, Owo. 

2. Candidates are to pay a sum of N7,500 to Ecobank Plc Account No 5282011354 or cash at the Bursary of the University. Evidence of payment should be attached to the application forms, which should be submitted to the Office of the Registra, Achievers University, Owo. 

3. Post-UTME screening for the Law programme holds on Saturday 3rd March, 2018 at 1I am. 

The programme, with its flexible time offering is designed for working and non-working students as lectures hold during the weekends. 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 

I. 0 Level Entry to Part 1 (5 Years of 15 Terms) - 0 Level credits in five relevant subjects at not more than two sittings. 
2. Direct Entry to Part II (4 Years of 12 Terms -A Level, JUPEB, ND and NCE in relevant disciplines. 
3. Direct Entry to Part III (2 Years of 6 Terms), HND/B.Sc. in relevant disciplines.
